J. Klopp about the upcoming season in England: "It won't just be a two-horse race"

After the unsuccessful friendly match against "Napoli," Jurgen Klopp mentioned the upcoming English Premier League season.

"The Reds" were just one point away from the title last season, losing out to "Manchester City." According to Klopp, more clubs will be aiming for the title in the upcoming season, so he does not expect to see the same two-horse race between the two clubs.

"Last year we had a two-horse race. However, there are other great teams in the league that are ready to compete. I think 'City' also understands that," Klopp said.

"Man City" remains a strong favorite, and I think everyone will want to beat them, including us.

"At least we have to make an effort to do so. Of course, to achieve that, we need to play better football than we are now, but I have no doubt we will do that," the German added.

The Premier League season kicks off on August 9. The curtain raiser will be 'Liverpool' hosting 'Norwich' at home.
