“Liverpool” team played 2-2 draw with “Manchester United” in an away game on Sunday and conceded the first position in the tournament table to London's “Arsenal” footballers.
Jurgen Klopp's wards dominated practically throughout the match, but failed to capitalize on it, while “United” scored two impressive goals.
After the match, “Liverpool” coach did not dramatize the situation, but stated that his team had to make use of the gameplay advantage they had.
“It is obvious that we should have won the match. We created problems for ourselves. We controlled the game, scored a goal, and could have scored a few more. The opponents did not even make a shot in the first half.
However, “United” took advantage of our mistakes. Fernandes' goal execution was simply amazing. Then the atmosphere in the stadium changed, and the opponents scored another amazing goal.
We managed to get back into the game. We could have scored even more goals.
