Jurgen Klopp, speaking to the German media, admitted that the year 2022 could be his last at Liverpool.
Last season, the German who led the Reds to triumph in the UEFA Champions League received an offer to sign a new lucrative contract with Liverpool, but the strategist himself rejected this opportunity.
Liverpool fans still have time to recover - Klopp's current contract will only expire in three years. However, Klopp admitted that after this contract, he is unlikely to remain at Liverpool.
"It looks like it," - when asked if he plans to go on vacation after the end of his contract with Liverpool, Klopp replied.
"I can't say for sure that it will happen, but if I see that I can no longer continue and I need a break, then I will have to make this decision.
At the moment, I still feel a huge amount of energy, but as always, there is one problem - I cannot do something little by little. I either do everything or nothing."
"I am confident that after a year's break, my energy levels would rise again and I could continue my work as usual," added the German.
