The manager of the English champions, Jurgen Klopp, publicly criticized the idea of the Super League back in 2019 and it seems that he has not changed his opinion even after his coached club became one of the league's founders. Speaking to the BBC, the German stated that his position has not changed and he is in no way related to the Super League. "My opinion has not changed. I heard about the Super League for the first time yesterday. I haven't delved too much into it because we have a tough match against 'Leeds' ahead of us. So far, we have very little information.
