J. Klopp has admitted that in January he will likely be forced to purchase a center-back.

The head coach of "Liverpool" Jurgen Klopp, after the victory in the semi-finals of the English League Cup, revealed that he will most likely be forced to buy a new centre-back in January.

Yesterday, the "Reds" won away with a minimal difference against "Stoke City", but the victory was overshadowed by the injuries of midfielder Coutinho and centre-back Dejan Lovren. "Liverpool" doesn't have many options in the centre-back position - the injuries are also being treated for Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho.

Now J. Klopp has only one healthy defender, Kolo Toure, who finished the game yesterday alongside Lucas Leiva. The coach is not happy with this situation, so "Liverpool" may expect a newcomer in January.

When asked about the possibility of developing a newcomer in the defender position at "Liverpool", J. Klopp answered: "With the current situation, when there are no healthy defenders in the team, I think we need to consider it."

"Just two weeks ago we had three healthy centre-backs and the situation was good, but now we don't have many options", - added the former manager of "Borussia Dortmund".
