J. Klopp on the Super League: "Less matches, more money"

Jurgen Klopp, speaking with journalists in London about the "Football Leaks" revealed data regarding the planned establishment of the European elite clubs Super League, laughed "deliciously."

Recently disclosed documents reveal that famous European clubs, including "Liverpool," are secretly discussing the establishment of a private league, which could automatically mean withdrawal from the UEFA Champions League or even domestic competitions.

J. Klopp did not seem surprised when asked about the Super League, but stated that the club had not discussed it with him.

"It sounds quite nice, as it would mean fewer matches but higher incomes. However, I am completely satisfied with how football and the game in the leagues are currently going. It's good that this is just an idea that will not be implemented right away.

I am not sure if anyone has already talked about it. It seems that other fantastic ideas of FIFA and UEFA are implemented immediately, and they don't listen to the opinions of others. Then we all say, 'Well, we will have another 20 matches, but we won't get more money for them,'" explained the strategist.

According to "Football Leaks," the Super League, in which clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, and others would play, could start as early as 2021.
