J. Klopp reacts to P. Guardiola's comment about S. Mane

Jurgen Klopp responded to Pep Guardiola's criticism of Sadio Mane.

After the weekend match, P. Guardiola mentioned in an interview the "Liverpool" team's victories in the final minutes of the game and their main star - S. Mane.

P. Guardiola stated that the Senegalese player likes to simulate fouls. J. Klopp reacted to these Catalan comments at a press conference on Monday.

"I don't know how Guardiola could find out about even one incident in our matches so quickly, when their match was taking place at the same time," said J. Klopp.

"Sadio is not a player who simulates fouls (diver - English). There was a situation in the match against 'Aston Villa' when he fell to the ground, but it was after contact with the opponent.

I am 100 percent convinced that if something similar happened to the 'Man City' team, they would want a penalty kick in that situation.

To be honest, I don't really feel like discussing 'Man City' at all. Right now, I am only concerned about the match against 'Genk'," the strategist concluded briefly.

Next weekend, S. Mane and J. Klopp will have the opportunity to respond to P. Guardiola's criticism - a match between the two 'Premier' league leaders will take place at 'Anfield' stadium.
