J. Klopp, who ended the title drought, will receive a profitable and long-term contract at Liverpool

Since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool club has played in three European tournament finals, but glory only came last weekend.

After a seven-year drought of titles for the Liverpool team, the spell was broken in Madrid - on Saturday, the "Reds" defeated Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League final with a score of 2:0, becoming European champions for the sixth time in their club's history.

The biggest compliments after this season go to Jurgen Klopp, who not only returned Liverpool to European elite but also created a team capable of dominating for several more seasons.

In 2015, Klopp joined Liverpool and still has a three-year contract remaining, but the club's management is willing to keep the German for a much longer period.

According to the Daily Mail, the UEFA Champions League winners are already prepared to offer a new and more lucrative contract.

The 51-year-old specialist is being offered a yearly salary of £10 million and a contract lasting until 2025.
