J. Kloppas: Life in the City Stops During the Liverpool Derby

"Liverpool" coach Jurgen Klopp insists that during our match with "Everton" the whole city stops for 90 minutes.

The "Reds" await their Merseyside derby rivals with a lead in points, so a win against a strong "Toffees" team would be crucial in the fight for a place in the UEFA Champions League.

The specialist from Germany believes that to defeat rivals, "Liverpool" will need to play aggressively.

"I may not be skilled in many areas of life, but maybe I am a genius in understanding derbies, because it didn't take me a second to understand that," Klopp said.

"The world stops in the city for 90 minutes. Football is not the most important thing in the world, but sometimes we like to think the opposite."

"There are not many cities in the world that have two clubs of such size and importance. That's what we are looking forward to."

"(We need to be - ed.) aggressive, but not overly aggressive, and fight with all our might to try to delight our fans."

However, winning three points won't be easy for the "Liverpool" team, even at "Anfield" stadium. "Everton" players have suffered only one defeat in their last 12 "Premier" league matches.
