J. Kloppas: "Second place in the Premier League is not what I wanted"

"Liverpool" players on Sunday secured a victory against "Wolves", but this triumph was not enough in the "Premier" league - for the second consecutive year, the strongest team in England became "Manchester City". Jurgen Klopp, speaking to "Sky Sports" after the match, praised "Man City" and stated that his team did everything possible this season. "Some people will say we could have done something better, but I don't think it was possible to do any better. At times, 'City' was accompanied by success, at times it was accompanied by us. Our goal was to stay in the race until the end, and we did just that. It's tough when your opponent is a club like 'City'. Throughout the season, they couldn't get rid of us, and we couldn't do the same with them. Second place in the 'Premier' league is not what I wanted, but we have to see it as the first step for the team. Now we have three weeks to prepare for the Champions League final, which we will try to win," said J. Klopp.
