J. Kloppas: "UEFA needs to do something about clubs not adhering to financial rules"

Jurgen Klopp claims he is not yet familiar with the "Football Leaks" information, but emphasized that the emergence of FFP (Financial Fair Play) in football is a commendable thing and UEFA should pay more attention to clubs that do not comply with the rules.

In the publication released by "Football Leaks," two clubs are clearly indicated, which avoided significant fines and eliminations from UEFA tournaments by Gianni Infantino and Michel Platini's intervention - "Manchester City" and Paris "Saint-Germain."

Both clubs significantly exceed their income by acquiring new players, but still manage to avoid strict sanctions.

"I heard this story through 'Der Spiegel,' but I am not yet familiar with it," said J. Klopp. - It's difficult to comment on something without knowing much, but generally speaking, FFP is a good thing in football."

"If clubs do not adhere to the rules, UEFA has to do something. I have no idea what is happening exactly, but I know that Paris club and Man City are being mentioned.

I'm not sure if other clubs were also mentioned. That's all I can say. As I mentioned, FFP is a good thing because it sets equal rules for everyone.

If everything is fine, then it's fine. If not, then someone has to do something," Klopp expressed his opinion.
