The head coach of "Liverpool" Jurgen Klopp does not understand the opinion of many people that it is time for Wayne Rooney to end his career at "Manchester United" club.
J. Klopp's led "Liverpool" will face W. Rooney's "Man Utd" team tonight. However, it is expected that the Englishman will start the match from the bench.
"Wayne is a great and threatening forward," J. Klopp said at a press conference. "The situation Rooney is in right now could happen over a long career."
"But as for me, I think he is still a world-class footballer. But as far as I know, when you are the coach of "Liverpool" you cannot like "Man Utd" players, so...", the strategist concluded.
This season, W. Rooney scored one goal and made four assists in 10 games played.
