J. Kloppas: "We will meet the New Year loudly"

"Liverpool" finished the year 2018 on the highest note - in the last game of the year, the "Reds" continued their victorious journey by defeating London's "Arsenal" team.

Without any losses in the English "Premier" league, the "Reds" did not leave any hope for the "Arsenal" team with a score of 5:1 at home. "Liverpool" is seriously aiming for the title this season - they have a 9-point advantage over their closest pursuers.

J. Klopp claims to be "not an idiot" and understands that titles are not won in December, but he admitted that New Year's will most likely be celebrated loudly.

"Perhaps New Year's Eve will be a bit louder, but maybe not, because my dog doesn't like loud noises. We need to enjoy this moment, but be ready for January 3rd," said J. Klopp.

"If we lose three points in the next game, the media will immediately start saying that we feel the pressure. We cannot play such games and we will not do it.

At the moment this is a marathon that we are running. When you participate in a marathon with new shoes and shorts, everyone around you is amazed, but you are the one who has to run. That is our situation," added J. Klopp.

The manager mentioned January 3rd not by accident - they will have a match against their biggest competitor this season, the "Manchester City" club.
