„Liverpool“ on Thursday ended their streak of winless matches in the „Premier“ league with a 3-1 victory over London's „Tottenham“. The team's performance was celebrated by „Liverpool“ manager Jurgen Klopp, who is concerned about the injury to Joel Matip.
„We scored beautiful goals at very opportune moments. It can be said that those who needed to shine, did so. The match unfolded excellently, of course, excluding Matip's injury.
“Today, the most important thing was not the team's form, but rather who we are. You saw the real „Liverpool“, especially in the second half.
“I didn't look at the statistics, but I think that excluding the first few minutes, the opponents were unable to control the ball for longer periods. I saw a lot of things clearly, things that I demand from my players“, - Klopp spoke to „BT Sport“.
