“Barcelona” team fans and president Joan Laporta's hopes to bring back forward Lionel Messi failed.
It was revealed yesterday that the world champion who became a free agent chose the Miami “Inter” team playing in the MLS league.
Today, the Catalan club released a public statement about the situation.
“On Monday, the player's father Jorge informed “Barça” about L. Messi's decision to move to the USA. This happened despite our team's offer to defend the colors of Barcelona again.
