Former "Barcelona" president Joan Laporta intends to participate in the 2016 elections for the presidency of the Catalan club.
The Spaniard recently met with Jorge Mendes, who is Jose Mourinho's agent. Rumors have spread in the media that J. Laporta, if elected president of "Barcelona," will seek to attract J. Mourinho.
"My favorite coaching style is according to Johan Cruyff's philosophy," said J. Laporta.
"Jose Mourinho is a great professional and I have great respect for him, but we did not talk about him with Mendes. Jorge and I maintain good friendship and, of course, sometimes we talk about such things," concluded the 52-year-old politician.
There were also rumors in the press that J. Laporta discussed with J. Mendes the possibility of attracting Cristiano Ronaldo.
