Having had a very unsuccessful career stage at Madrid's "Real" club, Julen Lopetegui may return to the "La Liga" championship next season.
"Marca" radio announces that "Sevilla" has been negotiating with the former Spanish national team coach for some time. J. Lopetegui has been unemployed since November, when he was dismissed from his position as coach of "Real".
"Sevilla" parted ways with Pablo Machin at the start of the season, and his replacement, Joaquin Caparros, agreed to work only until the end of the season.
J. Lopetegui was previously linked to another Sevilla team - "Real Betis". However, this club is close to an agreement with "Espanyol" coach Rubi.
"Sevilla" director Monchi should soon meet with J. Lopetegui to discuss the details of the deal.
