Madrid's "Real" coach Julen Lopetegui is not in favor of traveling to the United States to play "La Liga" championship matches.
"La Liga" issued a statement stating that they are waiting for approval from the Spanish Football Federation for the transfer of the match between "Girona" and "Barcelona" to the USA. Later, they want more matches of this country to be played in America.
When asked if he supports this renewal of "La Liga", J. Lopetegui categorically disagreed: "I am not one of those who agreed with what "La Liga" decided. Such conditions make the chances of teams in the championship unequal. Each team must play only on their own field."
However, J. Lopetegui currently has another puzzle - tomorrow his team will face tough matches at the "San Mames" stadium with Bilbao "Athletic". The strategist does not expect an easy walk:
"Athletic" has had almost a full lineup ready for these weeks, so we all know what to expect from them. It will be great, but at the same time difficult matches. We have to play like we did before the international break."
