Madrid's "Real" coach Julen Lopetegui would like to restore cooperation with 28-year-old Mexican national team midfielder Hector Herrera.
According to "Univision," J. Lopetegui will try to invite the captain of "Porto" once his contract with the current club expires. H. Herrera is currently valued at around 20 million euros, but next summer he will become a free agent.
The possibility of seeing the Mexican in Madrid will depend on how Mateo Kovacic's career will develop. Currently, the Croatian is on loan at "Chelsea," so there is a chance that he will be sold after the season.
In this case, "Real" would invite H. Herrera as one of the rotation players.
H. Herrera has been playing for "Porto" since 2013 and has played in almost 200 matches.
