J. Lowas explained his decision to leave L. Sane out of the national team squad.

Joachim Low yesterday announced the final roster of the German national team for the 2018 World Cup. There was one surprise - "Manchester City" winger Leroy Sane was left out of the team.

It was an unexpected decision, as L. Sane was one of the leaders of the "Man City" team this season. He received personal recognition for his excellent performance - he was named the best young player in the Premier League.

Nevertheless, J. Low explained his decision by saying that L. Sane is not yet ready to play for the national team.

"It was a very close decision between him and Julian Brandt. This time he was on Brandt's side. Our main players in this position are Reus, Draxler, and Muller," J. Low said.

"He has great talent and will return to the national team in September. He just needs to reach the level of the national team. The decision to choose Brandt over him was made by a hair's breadth. If it were a 100-meter race, we would have needed a photo finish," the coach added.
