Yesterday, a video quickly spread on social networks showing Bruno Fernandes seemingly awkwardly greeting Cristiano Ronaldo upon his arrival at the Portugal national team camp.
Many fans perceived some tension between the two teammates due to Ronaldo's recent interview about the situation at Manchester United and disrespect towards Erik ten Hag.

However, the suspected tension was denied today by both Bruno Fernandes and another Portugal national team defender Joao Mario.
"They were just joking around, Bruno was the last one to arrive at the camp, and Cristiano asked him: 'Did you come here by plane?'", said J. Mario.
B. Fernandes shared this explanation from Joao Mario on his Instagram platform and jokingly replied himself: "There you are, ruining the covers of newspapers."
