"Miunchen's 'Bayern' returns to the 'Vicente Calderon' stadium, where they suffered a minimal loss last season. Bayern defender Javi Martinez understands that returning with a positive result from Madrid will not be easy.
Today at 21:45 Lithuanian time in the Spanish capital, the Madrid 'Atletico' and Munich 'Bayern' teams, who fought each other last season for a spot in the UEFA Champions League final, will face off.
"It's always nice to come back here. We have had some serious matches here, so we are ready," the Spaniard said at a press conference. "Getting something easy in this stadium is difficult."
"We are not dependent on our opponents. What we will do is control the ball and try to avoid any mistakes," added J. Martinez.
'Bayern' captain Philipp Lahm also does not expect an easy game. The German national team legend admitted that Spanish football currently sets the conditions in Europe.
"German football was good in 2013 when two teams from the country played in the Champions League final. However, it must be acknowledged that at the moment, Spanish clubs dominate in Europe," said P. Lahm.
