Munich's "Bayern" defender Javi Martinez has no intention of leaving the Bavarian club this summer.

Recently, the Spaniard was linked to London's "Arsenal" team, and it was also reported that the footballer is interested in "Barcelona".

Despite such rumors, J. Martinez claims that he promises to remain loyal to the Bavarian club: "I plan to stay in the ranks of Bayern".

"I read in the newspapers that Pep Guardiola is satisfied with my contribution to the results. I hope the club management thinks the same way," he said.

"We had a great conversation with the management. We didn't talk about leaving. If the club wants me to stay, I will stay. That's what I hope for," insisted J. Martinez.

The footballer moved to Bayern from the Bilbao "Athletic" team. The Bavarians then paid 40 million euros to the Basques.
