After the first game, due to injuries, Andres Iniesta and Jeremy Matheu dropped out of the lineup, and in the return match at the "Camp Nou" stadium, Javier Mascherano got injured. The Argentine was diagnosed with a slight strain of the right Achilles tendon, which will likely keep him out of training at full force for about a week. This means that in the Spanish league starting this Saturday, Barcelona coach Luis Enrique will likely field Frenchman Samuel Umtiti alongside Gerard Pique against Sevilla's Real Betis.
