"Manchester United" defender Juan Mata assures that he has never had any conflicts with the current team manager Jose Mourinho.
In 2014, the Spaniard moved to the "Red Devils" after Mourinho was in charge of London's "Chelsea", and Mata often warmed the bench as a substitute player.
It is not surprising that when the 53-year-old specialist took over the reins of the Manchester team, questions arose about the future of the defender there.
"My relationship with Mourinho has never been bad," Mata said.
"In the summer when he arrived, there were many lies spread about me and Mourinho."
"It annoyed me that every day I had to read and hear rumors that were not true. Everything is fine between me and him."
"You can find many comments on Facebook and Twitter, but they are just funny."
Mata started the season by playing in eight matches, during which he scored two goals.
