Having spent many seasons in England, goalkeeper Juan Mata may return to the "La Liga" championships.
"The Sun" reports that the father and agent of the 30-year-old footballer, Juan senior, has been negotiating with the "Barcelona" club for some time now.
Next summer, the Catalans would not have to pay a transfer fee, as J.Mata's contract with "Man Utd" team is expiring.
The English would not mind keeping the experienced footballer in their ranks, but they only offer a one-year contract, while the athlete demands a contract at least twice as long.
J.Mata joined the "Man Utd" team in 2014, when £37.1 million was paid for him to the "Chelsea" team.
