"Manchester United" defender Juan Mata didn't spare praise for his former coach Rafael Benitez and stated that he can get the best out of players.
The Spanish national team player worked with R. Benitez at London's "Chelsea" club when they won the UEFA Europa League trophy in 2012-13. J. Mata fondly remembers that season and claims that it was one of the best in his career personally.
“He was with me at the "Chelsea" team and we won the Europa League”, said the Spaniard. “It was a great stage, the best in my career in terms of statistics”.
“Benitez knows how to get maximum benefit from each football player and also how to help them achieve their best physical form. He was my key to success at the "Chelsea" team”, added J. Mata.
Let's remind that R. Benitez will be coaching Madrid's "Real" team from the next season.
