Lisbon's "Sporting" representative Jeremy Mathieu has become another critic of the "Barcelona" management.
Not only did Dani Alves and Neymar leave for "Paris Saint-Germain" while Josep Bartomeu was president, but also the former Catalan defender blames him for bad behavior.
Because of this, he is even considering scoring a goal against the Spanish vice-champions, against whom the Portuguese will play on Wednesday.
"I don't know. I really respect my former teammates and fans. If I score, it will be because of Josep Bartomeu and Roberto Fernandez (the club's technical secretary - ed. note), because I think the way they treated me was very sour," Mathieu responded to a question from the newspaper Marca.
The Frenchman also criticized another Spanish publication's work: "The press - not (they did not behave unfairly - ed. note), only one newspaper "Sport". I am a little upset with them, because every time I played, they always had something bad to say about me. That's how it was. Football is a team sport and when you lose, it is never the fault of one person. That's my opinion."
"I watched the game against "Juventus" again and everyone says that I was the problem. It is true that, looking at the goals, I was left one on one and didn't win the duel, the ball bounced off me, but "Juve" also made passes and they could question what Mascherano or Pique were doing, but they didn't. That's just my opinion."
Since 2014, Mathieu has spent three seasons in the ranks of "Barca".
