"Barcelona" defender Jeremy Mathieu revealed that he rejected Istanbul's "Besiktas" offer and will fight for a place in his team's lineup.
Just recently, Turkish champions acquired French team mate Adriano for 1.7 million euros.
On the other hand, even though the Brazilian left, "Barca" has added two more defenders - Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne this summer. So, the competition will only increase.
"It is true that I had contacted them, but I told the president that I am very happy and want to continue my career here," Mathieu told Mundo Deportivo.
