Jorge Mendes revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo made the decision to leave Madrid's "Real" club in the middle of last season.
Last summer, C. Ronaldo decided to make a change and went to Turin's "Juventus". As the footballer's agent revealed, the Portuguese had made such a decision long before the end of the season.
"Last January, Ronaldo told me that he wants to play for the 'Juventus' club," said J. Mendes.
"At that time, I didn't think the deal would be easy, so I immediately told him that we would have difficulties in making it happen. However, as it turned out now, nothing is impossible," added the agent.
Later, J. Mendes revealed the details of the negotiations: "The first meeting with the 'Juventus' management took place in Madrid, during the Champions League match between 'Juve' and 'Real'."
After that, most of the negotiations were conducted over the phone. The deal started to progress slowly two or three months before the contract was signed."
