J. Mourinho: A seven-point lead against "Man City" doesn't mean anything yet

Jose Mourinho didn't rush to celebrate the "Manchester City" draw and insisted that the advantage gained by the London "Chelsea" club still doesn't mean much.

Yesterday, in the English "Premier" League, the "Blues" who defeated the "Aston Villa" team took advantage of the draw with the "Man City" club, currently in second place. The Portuguese-led London team gained a 7-point advantage against their closest opponents.

When asked by journalists if the advantage gained by "Chelsea" could become insurmountable, the strategist replied: "In another country, I would say that this is a fantastic advantage, but in this country, it means nothing."

"Every match is very difficult, but anyone can defeat anyone," continued J. Mourinho. "Seven points are seven points, but we still have 14 matches. Through them, we can earn another 42 points, while currently we only have a seven-point advantage. I think that still doesn't mean much."

"When you are at the top of the table, you don't need to look at the points lost by other teams. If they stumble - great, but the most important thing is to focus on ourselves," concluded the former manager of Real Madrid.

The next "Premier" League match for the "Chelsea" club will be on Wednesday, when they play at home against Liverpool's "Everton".
