J. Mourinho about P. Pogba: when you concentrate solely on football, you can expect good results

"Manchester United" coach Jose Mourinho continues to try to convince that he is not to blame for the often poor performance of Paul Pogba in the club.

P. Pogba recently won the most important title of his career - he triumphed in the World Cup with the French national team. The midfielder was one of his team's key players and scored a goal in the final against Croatia.

When asked by journalists what the club needs to do for P. Pogba to play as well as he does for the national team, the strategist did not look for words.

"I don't think we need to think about how we can get the best version of him in the team, I think we should talk about what he needs to do to give the club what he does best", - said J. Mourinho.

"For a player like Pogba, the World Cup was a great place to show himself in a positive light. During that whole month, the team is completely focused only on football. Players completely detach from society and only focus on their goal.

During the club season, this is not the case - during it, once you can do something important, another time less, later - even less, and in this way you lose concentration until you do something important again", - continued J. Mourinho.

J. Mourinho clearly hinted at the Frenchman's life in social media, where he was more noticeable than on the pitch during certain moments of the past season.
