J. Mourinho after important player losses: we are in trouble

"Manchester United" coach Jose Mourinho admits that the team is now in a difficult situation, as on Thursday they lost two more important starting players. In the UEFA Europa League match, which "Man Utd" triumphed to reach the semifinals, Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic suffered serious knee injuries. It is undeniable that the 35-year-old forward's season is certainly over. "Man Utd" had more losses even without these two players - Phil Jones and Chris Smalling cannot play, and Juan Mata is most likely out for the rest of the season. "We are in trouble," admitted J. Mourinho, whose team will face "Burnley" in the Premier League match on Sunday. "Eric Bailly played six consecutive games without rest, and as if that wasn't enough, we lost Rojo. We don't have Smalling and Jones in defense. We were already in big trouble, but Zlatan's loss added to it. "We still have options in attack. Wayne Rooney is ready to step on the field, and at the end of the season, we can expect Juan Mata to return," added J. Mourinho. "Man Utd", currently in fifth place, is four points behind "Man City" in fourth place.
