J. Mourinho after the draw with "Stoke": we demonstrated the best game this season

Traditionally, as after every match, the head coach of "Manchester United" Jose Mourinho reviewed the matches of his players. Immediately, the Portuguese shared his thoughts after the draw against "Stoke City".

About the match

"Everything is simple - it was the best performance of "Manchester United" this season. After the first half, the score could have been 3 - 0 or 4 - 0, and we could have finished the match with six or seven goals. I can't believe the score is 1 - 1. It's a very unfair result. I will repeat that today's performance was much better than against "Leicester", because in those matches the result showed more than our game, and today everything was the opposite."

Wasted chances

"In the first half, right at the beginning of the match, we had a great opportunity to score a goal, the creation of chances was also great. After a few minutes, Paul Pogba was one-on-one with the goalkeeper. We had three or four opportunities in the first half. A similar situation was in the second half of the match. We hit the crossbar. We did everything, played great football. We controlled the ball, moved well in the field, created so many chances to score. It was a great performance that led to a win, but at the end of the match we lost two points."

Lee Grant's performance

"He played great from the first minute and continued that throughout the match. We had chances in both halves and I think everyone will agree with my statement."

Inability to finish against "Stoke"

"It was a possible danger signal, but we created chances and scored after conceding a goal. If we had retreated to our own half, we would have started to play and take risks. Today, we didn't do that. We tried to finish the match, because we felt that we could and should do it. They were lucky, we weren't, and that's football."

Fifteen days wait until the match against "Liverpool"

"It is disappointing, because the result is not good, we will not have a match in the next three or four days. We will also not have players to work with, but that's football. I think everyone is disappointed, but we must be satisfied with the quality of our game. I know the fans are disappointed with the result, but the reaction in the stadium also showed that they know we did everything."
