J. Mourinho after the victory in Leicester: we played like children

Jose Mourinho after the unsuccessful match in Leicester talked about the mistakes of the "Manchester United" team.

Yesterday, the 19th round of the "Premier" league ended, after which the "Red Devils" further complicated their chances to fight for the title. "Man Utd" let victory slip away at the very end of the match against "Leicester City" and increased the gap from "Man City" to 14 points.

"Man Utd" had numerous opportunities in these matches to score a third and fourth goal, but failed to take advantage of perfect opportunities and were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw.

"These were the matches that we should have easily won," Mourinho told a "Sky Sports" journalist. "We did everything to win these matches. But it's not so easy to do when you can't capitalize on such opportunities. I'm not just talking about the opportunities to score - we couldn't control the ball where we should have very easily."

"While controlling the ball, we would lose it like little kids. We played extremely immaturely at the end of the match, but Chris Smalling's injury also contributed to that.

They took advantage of that and sent Maguire forward. Players in defense simply couldn't react so quickly to such changes. I can say that we played like children both in attack and defense.

We made a lot of mistakes and couldn't secure two more points, which were so easily attainable," Mourinho concluded.
