London's "Chelsea" coach Jose Mourinho says that the time has come for the club to have a new stadium.
The current "aristocrats" home "Stamford Bridge" accommodates 41798 fans - it is only the eighth largest stadium in the Premier League. Considering the club's success during the Roman Abramovich era, these numbers are significantly low.
Earlier this summer, "Chelsea" fans were able to view the planned stadium reconstruction plans, but in that case the team would have to play in a different arena for up to three seasons.
"So far, I have managed 98 matches from the dugout at 'Stamford Bridge' and I hope there will be more," Mourinho said.
"I know that the club needs to take the next step, which is a new 'Stamford Bridge' with more seating capacity."
