The coach of Istanbul's "Fenerbahçe" team, Jose Mourinho, has downplayed the reports circulating online about his surgery.

According to the 61-year-old specialist, he is not even thinking about a forced break in his career.

"Merry Christmas and thank you to everyone who has sent messages. I wish everyone happy holidays. May this time be filled with love and happiness for you and your families.

To those who showed concern, I can confirm that the reports about my surgery were greatly exaggerated; it was just a quick and minor procedure."

"I will continue training on the first day after the holidays, as always. In 25 years, I have never missed a session, and I do not intend to start now," wrote J. Mourinho on social media.
