J. Mourinho could be replaced by D. Simeone at the helm of "Chelsea"

In the English newspaper "Sunday Mirror" it was reported that London's "Chelsea" is already considering replacing coach Jose Mourinho. Talks about the Portuguese's dismissal began to intensify after a very poor start to the season for the "aristocrats" - at the moment the capital's team is only in 16th place in the Premier League.

Despite the fact that "Chelsea" triumphed in the country's championship last year, the team has failed to make a significant progress in the UEFA Champions League for the second year in a row. Last year, they were eliminated in the quarterfinals by "Paris Saint-Germain".

Due to not the best results, the club owners turned to Diego Simeone, who manages Madrid's "Atletico". Argentine, who led the team to the Spanish championship gold and the Champions League final in 2014, is considered one of the best strategists in the world.

However, he still has a long-term contract with "Atletico", so "Chelsea" would have to pay a £15 million buyout for him.

On the other hand, it does not seem impossible, as the "aristocrats" have paid for the coach's buyouts relatively recently - in 2011, the "Porto" coach Andre Villas-Boas arrived at the team for €15 million.
