J. Mourinho: Depay wants to leave

"Manchester United" coach Jose Mourinho revealed that winger Memphis Depay is not playing in matches because he wants to leave the team.

Despite his expensive transfer in the summer of 2015, the Dutchman only played 20 minutes in the "Premier League" this season.

It is not surprising that he did not have an impact on the team's results, and the 22-year-old footballer was last seen on the field back in November.

"He did not play last season. It's not like he played phenomenally last season and didn't play at all this season. It's not like that," Mourinho said.

"I have to say that my decisions about Memphis in the last few months have been influenced by the feeling and information that he would like to leave in January, and we will wait for a real offer that we could accept. This definitely has an impact on me."

"If I know, if I have a feeling that a player will leave, if I have to give a chance to other players, then I choose Lingard, Mkhitaryan, Martial - players who I know for sure will stay 100 percent. This is a position where we have more choices."
