J. Mourinho: I have high hopes from the fans of this club

Speaking about the work in the "Manchester United" club, Jose Mourinho admitted that he knows that his fans expect good results from him, but according to the Portuguese, he also expects a lot from the fans of the team.

The former "Chelsea" coach recently signed a three-year contract with "United", replacing Louis van Gaal. After 2013, when Alex Ferguson left the club, the "Red Devils" remained seventh, fourth and fifth, and Mourinho is expected to achieve good results in the very first year. The coach himself acknowledged that he understands that good results are expected from him, but he revealed that he also expects a lot from the fans of the team.

"I am not modest when I talk about my goals, I talk about them quite aggressively. I want everything, and everything is victory in every match, good game, goals, and keeping our goal safe - I want all of these things. I know that these are things that are very difficult to achieve, but I want them. I understand that fans expect a lot from me, but I also expect a lot from them," - adidas Front Row Mourinho said.

The coach from Portugal also admitted that he is very proud to wear the new club's jersey and stated that this club is much more important than any newcomer in the team.

"We have acquired a few newcomers, we also retained some players, but ultimately, it doesn't matter who the coach is, who the newcomers are, or who the club veterans are, it is "Man United", and "Man United" is more important than anything else. Fans passionately support the club, and I feel like a part of this club. As soon as I arrived, I immediately put on the "United" jersey and it is a great honor to represent this club and wear its jersey. I will do everything I can to be happy and make people happy," he added.
