London's "Tottenham" strategist Jose Mourinho revealed that the team may be forced to continue the rest of the season without Harry Kane.
The striker suffered a hamstring injury in the match against "Southampton." It was speculated that H. Kane would return to the lineup at the beginning of April, but "Tottenham" later confirmed that the player would need surgery, which could require him to rest longer than initially reported.
"We have no new news about Harry, so there is no need to ask me the same thing every time," - said the Portuguese before the upcoming FA Cup match.
"We hope he will return in mid or late April. Maybe even next season, we don't know for sure," added J. Mourinho.
As for whether the team will look to strengthen in Kane's position in the upcoming transfer window, J. Mourinho did not answer.
