J. Mourinho longs for the Champions League and hopes to return there next season

The head coach of "Manchester United," Jose Mourinho, admits that not participating in the UEFA Champions League is painful for both him and the "Red Devils" club, but he will do everything this season to return there.

J. Mourinho, along with "Man Utd," is competing in the UEFA Europa League tournament this season and successfully passed the group stage. The coach admits that he misses Champions League football, and "Man Utd" will always be the club associated with that tournament.

"Personally, I definitely miss the Champions League," said the coach who triumphed twice in this tournament. "I became the youngest coach to reach 100 matches in this tournament. Every time I don't play in the Champions League, I feel unsatisfied."

"But there is no doubt that 'Man Utd' is more important than my interests. The most important thing is that everyone knows that 'Man Utd' always belongs to the Champions League.

We are doing everything so that next season we can compete in this tournament. We have two possibilities to achieve this: secure a suitable position in the 'Premier' league or triumph in the Europa League tournament. It is not easy to achieve this, but we are working towards that," Mourinho concluded.

Currently, the Manchester club cannot feel secure about a possible return to the Champions League, as after the 22nd round of the English Premier League, they are only in seventh place.
