Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho says that despite his team's eight-point lead, Manchester United cannot be counted out in the fight for the Premier League title.
Louis van Gaal's team has been in excellent form recently, winning six games in a row.
"There is still a lot of time left - less than 50% of the league matches have been played so far," said the Portuguese manager. "Those trailing by no more than 10 points are still fighting for the title."
Next Monday, Chelsea will face Stoke City, to whom they lost 3-2 at the Britannia Stadium last season.
This match will kick off a tough schedule for the capital's footballers, as they will then play West Ham, Tottenham, and Southampton. Mourinho says his players are well prepared for this.
"These are four matches in a short period of time, but everyone is in the same position. Some will face weaker opponents, but the fixtures are set and nothing can be changed," the strategist clarified.
"We will play three away games: against Stoke, Southampton, and the London derby against Tottenham, but we are ready."
