"Manchester United" coach Jose Mourinho is ready to give his key players a rest in the English championship and aim for victory in the UEFA Europa League.
The "Red Devils" play a lot of matches this season, and international games are not taking place at the most convenient times - on Thursdays.
The Portugal coach has complained about his players' fatigue due to a tough schedule earlier, and after another draw with "West Bromwich", he mentioned that they may not have the strongest lineup for the local matches.
"I just want to think that (on Tuesday - ed.), against "Everton", we will do the same as we tried to do against "West Brom", we will try to play with our best lineup and win the match", Mourinho said.
"And after "Everton" we will also be set to play against "Sunderland". But then, after "Sunderland", comes the Europa League, and then I don't know anymore."
"Then, it is likely that you will see me playing in the "Premier" league with a team that I can use to protect the players I consider crucial for the Europa League."
"Nevertheless, this will only happen if the results of several other matches put us in a situation where mathematically it (the coach is likely talking about the top four of the "Premier" league - ed.) will be almost impossible."
The first leg of the Europa League quarterfinal, where "Manchester United" will try to overcome Brussels' "Anderlecht", will take place on April 13.
