J. Mourinho: my players have problems

Despite yesterday's victory against Swansea, Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho doubted his players' dedication to the game.

Portugal had to make several changes in defense - Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw dropped out of the lineup, while Daley Blind was ready to start the match only from the bench.

Their places were taken by Ashley Young, Marcos Rojo, and Matteo Darmian, and the mentality of the players who did not play did not impress the coach.

"I have a friend who is a famous tennis player, and he tells me that he remembers more times when he played with pain than when he played without pain," Mourinho said.

"To fight, you need to give it all. For some, it's a cultural thing - it's not even my culture. It's more than mine, it's the Manchester United approach," he added.

"We have players with problems. (It happens) in every sport - I know it because I have friends in other sports. They compete at the highest level and often do it even when they are not one hundred percent ready."

After playing 11 rounds of the Premier League, Manchester United is in eighth place in the standings.
