Jose Mourinho, despite a draw against "Norwich", was pleased with the performance of some of his players.
In these matches, Portugal gave a chance to newcomers Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele from the first minutes. The latter did not play too many matches due to physical problems with J. Mourinho, but now the coach is confident that the midfielder will receive more opportunities.
"I am very happy that he was named the MVP of the match. It could have been someone else, like Christian Eriksen. However, Ndombele was absolutely phenomenal," said the coach.
"This time we played without Winks and Dier, who are players in the same position, but the work done by both Tanguy and Christian was fantastic.
"We were in complete control of the match, the movement of the ball, not looking back, forward passes breaking through opponent's lines - everything was just fantastic," added J. Mourinho.
