Jose Mourinho claims that Paul Pogba did not ask for permission to leave "Manchester United" this summer. According to the manager, the Frenchman does not have such intentions at all.
J. Mourinho is firmly convinced that the Frenchman is happy with life at the "Man Utd" club, although the player himself hints at something completely different in an interview - he mysteriously mentions rumors about "Barcelona".
"After Paul Pogba returned from the World Cup, he never told me that he wants to leave," said J. Mourinho at a press conference.
"I say what was actually said, not what was written or heard. I have no connection with those people who write and listen to that information. I only have a connection with my players - not only with Paul, but with the whole team. He never told me he wants to leave.
If he did not tell me, it's because he wants to stay here. Shouldn't we stop at that?", - J. Mourinho concluded.
