Jose Mourinho and his coached London's "Tottenham" team experienced another painful defeat in the Premier League on Sunday, losing 1:3 at home to "Manchester United" players. Both during and after the match, there was a lot of discussion about the incident in the 33rd minute, when Edinson Cavani's goal was disallowed after VAR review due to Scott McTominay's foul on Heung-Min Son. This episode was vividly commented on by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who said that if his son acted like that in a similar situation, he simply wouldn't get dinner. These words particularly angered "Spurs" coach J. Mourinho, who distanced himself from the Norwegian.

"First of all, I was very surprised by Solskjaer's statement. But you, journalists, don't even ask for my opinion on this. I have already expressed my opinion to Solskjaer directly. Imagine what the reaction would be if I said something similar about a player from another team. It's very sad that you don't even ask me about this. Journalists don't respect me like they do other coaches. Son is very lucky that his father is a better person than Ole. I am a father myself, and I have to feed my child no matter what he does. If you have to steal for that, then you do it. I am very disappointed," J. Mourinho said at a press conference.

Speaking to "Sky Sports," the Portuguese coach claimed that his team didn't deserve the defeat and was convinced that Paul Pogba should have been sent off at the beginning of the match for a foul on Serge Aurier.

"I think we had a good game. We deserved a better result. We were a bit unlucky because, in my opinion, Paul Pogba should have been sent off for the elbow on Serge Aurier,” said the "Tottenham" manager.

Asked to comment on the VAR decision to disallow E. Cavani's goal, J. Mourinho had few words.

"I no longer understand VAR. I watched the Fulham match against Wolves, and some decisions are simply impossible to explain. Sometimes VAR decides one way, sometimes another. I don't even know what to say. Players no longer celebrate goals because you simply don't know what decision VAR will make," J. Mourinho said.
