J. Mourinho: We are not yet a team

"Manchester United" coach Jose Mourinho says that in the pre-season match with San Jose "Earthquakes", his players have not yet become a team.

In that match, the lineup was missing World Cup participants Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba, and Romelu Lukaku, but the "Red Devils" could rely on stars like Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial.

Nevertheless, they failed to break through the opponents' defense, and the most dangerous moment was Eric Bailly's shot hitting the crossbar.

"We are not a team. We are a group of players from different teams," Mourinho told "MUTV".

"Some are from the first team, some from the U23s, some returned from loan or will be loaned out, some are younger, belong to the U18s. We don't have a team that can play better than we did, but this is just another training session."

Under Mourinho's leadership, "Man United" will start the English Premier League season with a match at home against "Leicester City."
