J. Mourinho's farewell letter: "It was a huge honor to wear the badge of this club"

Jose Mourinho left Manchester and returned to his family in London. The 55-year-old coach completed his career marked by successes and failures at Manchester United club.

In his farewell letter J. Mourinho wrote that it was a great honor for him to work in this club and asked the media to leave him in peace at least until he returns to football.

"From the very first day, I was proud to wear the Manchester United club badge. I believe the United fans saw that," - explained the coach.

"Just like in my previous clubs, I also worked with amazing people here, and I believe some of them will remain my friends until the end of my life.

You all know my professional principles. Every time a certain career stage ends, I show the deepest respect and never comment on my former colleagues.

I hope that the media will also show respect and allow me to live a normal life until I return to football. Merry Christmas," J. Mourinho added.
